The solution implemented in Nigeria is an Centralized Database solution with inter operator messaging. It follows the number porting process for Mobile, with SMS validation solutions in place.
PortingXS has been working extensively together with its local partner ICN Nigeria to implement and replace the current local mobile number portability provider. In order to create a seamless transfer the company has fitted its systems to fully accomodate the Nigerian portability process. It is the ambition of ICN and PortingXS to further optimize the process to create an environment that promotes competition and has the consumer on top-of-mind.
